Prepare yourself for an overload of cuteness!
This sweet little girl was happily munching on a bag of grapes in the middle of her kitchen, completely absorbed in her snack. That is, until Blake Shelton’s hit song “Boys’ Round Here” came on. The moment she heard Shelton sing “Red red red red red red red red redneck,” she dropped her grapes without hesitation, jumped to her feet, and started dancing with pure joy.
Swaying side to side, the adorable toddler grooved to the beat of the country anthem, occasionally shouting “Redneck!” in delight. Though she’s too young to fully articulate the words, she gave her best shot at lip-syncing, making her performance even more endearing.
Her proud dad cheered her on in the background, playfully encouraging her with repeated cries of “Shake it, shake it!” The cutest moment of all came when she let out a little whine as the song began to wind down, clearly not ready for the fun to end.
A Song That’s Impossible Not to Dance To
“Boys’ Round Here,” written by Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson, and Craig Wiseman, is a lively celebration of Southern culture. Released in 2013 as part of Blake Shelton’s album Based on a True Story…, the track topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart and reached No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
Adding to its charm, the song features backing vocals from some of Shelton’s closest collaborators, including Miranda Lambert’s group Pistol Annies, The Voice alum RaeLynn, and the three talented songwriters behind it.
It’s no surprise this catchy tune had the little girl dancing with such enthusiasm. Watch the heartwarming footage in the video below, and try not to smile!
